Cruise Favorites—NUTmobile and Wienermobile Back for Sacramento CruiseFest 2018






It’s touted as being 180 peanuts high, 415 peanuts long, 140 peanuts wide and weighs in at about 3 million peanuts. The NUTmobile is back! 





And in this lane…

Weighing in at 140,500 hot dogs, 24, dogs high, 60 dogs long and 18 dogs wide, the Wienermobile is back. Hot-diggity dog!

They’re back for the annual CruiseFest on Fulton Avenue, FREE to the attending public and benefitting the California Automobile Museum (through paid entries). 
This year’s cruise takes place on Saturday, October 6th, from 3:00 pm till 7:30pm with the cruising portion from 3pm to 5pm.  Hundreds of custom and classic vehicles of all makes and models will be cruising the newly repaved Fulton Avenue, from El Camino to Marconi, followed by a street fair with vendors, live music, entertainment, a dozen food & dessert trucks, beer sales and more.
While we are waiting on commitments from some standout participants, here are some other entries:
Save Mart’s 12 foot tall mega-motorized shopping cart, which is powered by a 454 Chevy engine, can handle a handful of passengers and a few bags of groceries.
The Tahoe Photo Bus —A unique & funky photo booth in a mid-60’s era VW Bus prints top quality photos 
The Tombstone Hearse-A 21st century motorcycle version of a 19th century horse-drawn hearse, actually used in funerals. 
There will be a single stage with rotating bands all day. 
A consolidated food and beer festival area next to the stage with live music.
There will be special reserved parking for car clubs which will park together.  Participating clubs include the Porsche SVR club, the Porsche 356 club and Sacramento area Miata club.  More car club spots are available for interested clubs. 
Kid zone—Various activities for the kids
Discounted pricing for the first 300 cars to register is $25 for Museum Members and $30 for the general public.
For an additional $10, participants will receive a CruiseFest t-shirt and VIP bag with generous gifts from sponsors, and a free drink ticket.
